Vision Plan of
America
(VPA) is the Vision Plan provider for the TripleChoicePlan and was founded in 1985 by Dr. Stuart Needleman, president
and CEO. Dr. Needleman began his career in Optometry in
1959 after graduating from the University of Southern
California with a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of
Optometry Degrees. His career started in private practice
where he acquired a multiple office network of practices in
Los Angeles, Century City, Palmdale, Northridge and Oxnard,
California. Dr. Needleman had a concept of providing and
delivering quality vision care to individuals and businesses
in a cost containment setting. Today, VPA services
businesses throughout California and has comprehensive
vision care plans provided by over 1,000 private practice optometrists. Through the strong
guidance of Dr. Needleman, VPA has become one of the
nation's leading providers of vision care. Dr. Needleman
currently serves the people of California
as a member of the Department of Managed Health Care
advisory committee for the state of California and has
received numerous awards and commendations for his
dedication and service to the community.
